were you using buck shots? It would be alot more managable with number 8 shot low brass rounds. That's if your shotgun can cycle them

@ZzRvXzZ but this is the method used to test the reliability of some higher caliber rifles, i can get my M&P15-22 to fire fast enough that i occasionally drop the hammer on the slide before it has a chance to close and it doesn't hit the primer

Remember kids, don't ever attempt to bump-fire a 12 gauge shotgun if you want to have that thumb afterwards.
