  • That looks fast but then I think about John Shep's 7-8 second talon and 6 less cylinders. =)

Its a fast car but honestly who freaking cares! You sissies would argue about the color of jessica simpsons thong if you had the chance. Cars are made for different purposes, leave it at that and get along!

  • People today are idiots IMO. A 2002 Pontiac Trans-am WS6 with a manual tranny get's upwards of 28mpg as reported by the EPA and the average driver. A the new challenger with the 5.7L v6 is rated at 25mpg on the EPA website but most say 23mpg. Then people see the mustang and assume that all cars push 300hp with only 22mpg. While Japan has been working with 4 and 6 cylinders making MPG, America has been doing the same with v8 engines.

  • @brown55061 i bet it's green.

  • i dont know if im lost , but it says that the supra does 13.1 sec i a 1/4 D:

  • last i checked hes touching sixes. i lost respect for shep when he dumed the mitsubishi rearend for a new one. 8s in a talon with stock rearend and glass and carpet and an ohio liscesne plate is more respectable than 6-7 in a full race trim

  • how do you know asshole?

  • you know whats really funny? is that 7 second race video that mr.brown is talking about, john steph LOSES to a mustang, which to my knowledge is an american V8!

  • Yeah when they are all striped out running on a complete race application.

There's 7 second street legal Vipers on our roads today.

  • Hell yes! I agree! Man a 12 second car is fast. Many people haven't been above 100mph. Let me see take a normal driver and put them in a 10 second car. It would not be pretty.

  • Well as an old boss of mine said, if you can afford to make the payments on the car and the insurance. Paying for the gas to drive that car isn't a problem.

  • It mostly depends on driving style of course, but I've heard some crazy high mpg ratings out of some reasonably quick cars. A friend of mine has an '07 vette that he drove up from california getting high 20s the whole way. That is good for a car that'll run high 12s off the showroom floor. I doubt that this viper gets anything about 10 though...But WHO CARES when you can run low 10s?
