great video! am 29 and got my braces a month ago although i wish i could've had the surgery at your age,my life would definetely be different if that was case. Thanks for sharing.

ehm.. i also have to do a jaw sugery..
ive got also a big under jaw.. but they also are going to wide my upper jaw..
is there something what you cant do ... youre whole life or something? and do you have scrwes in your mounth or are they taken?

And yeah I do have screws in my mouth... but I cant feel them.. so its like I dont have any. You can watch a video here on youtube [just type in bi-jaw surgey and its the 1st one that pops up.] It'll let you know what happened exactly :]

how much did it cost and how did u get the money for it?

@greatbarzoffire- It cost about 30,000 but my insurrance covered almost all of it. My mom just had to pay 2,000 from her own pocket.

did you have any complications after the surgery? I have it in two days. They are also taking my wisdom teeth out and i am just kind of worried. I go in tomorrow to get my before surgery stuff done and I just wanted to know if you had any complications with anything. I am so relieved to find some one that has had this surgery...

I personally didnt have any complications.. before or after my surgery.
So I hope and pray that everything goes or went well for you as well =)
