A Jemi Love Story (I don´t even have a title yet!)
Ok, so I thought it would be best to explain why I´m doing this before I get started.
I´m from Argentina and I´m 23 years old (please, excuse any orthographic errors).
I got to know who the Jonas Brothers are this past year, through Camp Rock. I´m usually not easily seduced by Disney Stars, and I thought that the JoBros were another manufactured boy band like the Backstreet Boys (who I used to love, hence the dis-believing). But the thing is I have a little sister who is 12 and loves all things Disney. Add that to the fact that last year (January 2008) I went for the first time to Walt Disney World and came back home completely in awe. So, it was sometime like September or October when I saw a little bit of Camp Rock in our local Disney Channel. And I was like no, I don´t want to like this, this is so Hannah Montana and I hate that Girl. But then, they showed the movie again, and this time I watched the whole thing. And I liked it, yes I did. I felt kinda guilty, because I was 22 and loving a Disney movie like I was 12 again, but yeah, I liked it. A lot. And I mean a lot.
So I got myself the DVD thinking that the only thing that I was interested in was, you know, the living-the-dream-plus-really-cute-romant ic story, but I guess I was wrong again. Because I got to see the extras included in the disc and this kids starring in the movie seemed like great people, funny, kind, talented. Of course it was not only the Jonas that I liked, but Demi Lovato also. And let the Internet craziness begin!
Following that, I read a lot of stuff, from Joe and Demi not actually dating (booh, I wanted that to be true so bad), to Demi and Selena being best friends since they were 7 (no, actually I didn´t know that till October, because well, I don´t live in the US haha), to Nick dating Selena, to Kevin and Danielle, to Camp Rock 2, to every YouTube video on Earth, to New Years Eve, and everything that went on these past few months. However the one thing that remained the same since day one (because now, it´s not that I like Camp Rock stars, but the Jonas and Demi for themselves), was how in love I fell with Jemi.
And now we´ve reached the reason for this story. I also tend to like to read fan fictions. So, it seemed obvious that I would just Google Jemi+fanfiction and I would get tons of results, but I didn´t. Mostly what I saw was random stories of characters named Joe and Demi, and the thing is that I didn´t want that. I wanted actual Jemi fan-stories. Since I couldn´t find that many, I decided to start one on my one, because why not? Let´s just mention the fact that I´m on vacations and have a lot of free time for another week or so.
I don´t know where it´s headed, but I know that I love Jemi and Nelena, so if you don´t fancy them, there´s no need to watch, even less to be rude or anything like that. I don´t comment on you work bashing you, so please don´t do it to me.
Having said that, I hope you enjoy this as much as me!
While I work on the first chapters, why don´t you tell me what you think about this? I never had a YouTube account, nevertheless wrote my own fan fiction, so wanna give me some ideas? What about possible titles?
