Even still all he has to do is drop down.and the weapon will come in line to fire.Thats the other problem line of fire. even though you have taken yourself out of the line of fire. who ever is standing around and the attacker pulls trigger now you in a thrid party shooting.Dealing with Fire arms is a tricky thing.

@BlindPacemaker someone who can stay calm may seize an opportunity to dissarm the gunmen s ass, its 1 man vs another man, if your legs are shaking and you cant think clear because you fear for your life, you giveaway the money you worked so hard to get and then be thankful, is that what you are trying to say? let him go? there are better ways to dissarm i agree, like philipino kali or krav magav.

You also need SNAKE in here to train with you GUYS!!! He really is the master of CQC. Good videos I will be checking them, this might come in handy... Keep going with the job, do not even bother with the other people, I have trained all my life martial arts and anything is certain in a real life, but this is better than nothing and I am sure the people that complain have never even gone to train nothing and do not know what it takes, CONGRATS

@BeauStinsonDotCom as of which a knife is an extremely effective point blank in-ur-face weapon...a knife is more handy in a hand to hand combat situation

I don't like this, you have to have stronger upper body strength than them or you are so fucked, better off going for a kick in the nuts, a shot to bring the biggest mother fuckers to tears.

This is awful advice. Someone pointing a gun at you is either going to shoot you, or they are using it to rob you. If they are going to shoot you, they wont wait and stand around, they will shoot you as soon as they can. If they just want your stuff, hand over everything and be thankful that's all they wanted. This stuff could get someone killed.

@BlindPacemaker - Unfortunately, the advice you just gave isn't based on "what if's". I totally agree with you that your first move is to give them what they want. But what do you do when you've given them the money and then they say "get in the car...walk down that alley...come with me...etc"? The scenarios where you WILL have to disarm this person are countless so your advice only places unnecessary limitations on your survival mindset and may get you killed. Rethink your position.

@cqctraining Well what if you aren't fast enough? What my point is that there isn't 100% safety guaranteed. I mean it might work on the most people. But there are people that are trigger friendly. This is not meant as any offence.

@GlennFalconiVEVO - No offense taken. Just looking for valuable conversation around these handgun disarm techniques. That being said...when it comes to street fighting, nothing is 100%. But when it comes to handgun disarms, timing is crticial. Your options are to not attempt a disarm and hope for the best, or go for the disarm if you must. If you must disarm, "trigger happy" shots can happen by mistake and his flinch. But if you time right (like this video), your chances are much better.
