I perfer the Funimation Voice actors for each character, but for Sanji, I believe that David Moo's voice(4Kids) fits his personality over Eric Vale's Voice(Funimation). Sounds more manly, cool, calm, and serious as his character is portrayed. Whereas Eric Vale's voice makes him sound like a 18 year old teen, plus hes smoking which should affect the deepness of his voice. I stand by my opinion.

i think sanji sounds like trunks from dragon ball z

Usopp: Sonny Strait. Then again, I'm just a sucker for his Krillin voice.
Chopper: Lisa Ortiz. As much as I like Palencia, she sounds like an evil, forced Chaiotzu.
Robin: Tie between Young and McGlynn.
Zoro: Chris Robin Sabat. Very natural voice.

Even though no one seems to like 4kids, alot of the voices they did are the one's a listened to as a kid, and have become the official voices for the characters for me. I've been meaning to find out which version i used to watch when i was younger, but now, mainly based from Sanji and Zoro's voices, that i was watching the 4kids version. I never saw Robin, Chopper or Ace for 4kids, so i actually don't like them (Robin the cowgirl?) but the other voices just aren't the one piece characters i lovd

I choose Funimation for all of them. The japanese voice actors are amazing too. GG.

@Icytorvo963 Not bad, but I had it,
Nami - Funimation or 4kids(both fit the the character perfectly).
Sanji - None of them really did it for me so I can't really comment.
Chopper - Same as Sanji, just didn't feel it with any of them.
Robin - Viz Media(It's 'Hot Ice' Hilda and Major Motoko Kusanagi for God's sake how is that not awesome).
The ones I didn't list I agree with you on.
Luffy- All are good
Nami- Funimation
Zoro- Guts I mean 4kids
Sanji- Viz Media migh actually might have been okay, but funimation :P
Chopper- Viz Media least annoying
Usopp- Any are good, but Funimation is the best, sonny strait is just my favorite here, that and he can actually sound serious when hes serious alot better I think.
Robin- Funimation OMG 4kids made me want to attack my ears.
Ace- Funimation. Its travis willingham. Just pure win

@Icytorvo963 You've done well with the choices, and that discription you put about Sonny Strait voicing Usopp and making him more of a serious character was very touching. :)

Luffy: I got to stick with the japanese, it's just more classic
Zoro: Funimation *I just love his voice in english*
Nami: Original, I don't really think the english version fits
Usopp: Funimation.. His voice is hilarious, especially when he screams XD
Chopper: Both, I love.. I just cannot chooose
Robin: Probably Funimation, I just think it sounds pretty
Sanji: Original, as much as I love Eric Vale * its just better in original
Ace: Funimation *It sounds hotter.. xD*
These are just opinons!! :P

Zolo's Funimation voice sounds like Piccolo from DBZ, Is it the same voice actor?
Dougyamen 2 months ago
@Dougyamen Speaking of which, I saw on Bulbapedia, that Christopher Sabat who did the Funimation version of Roronoa Zoro in One Piece as well as the voice of Vegeta and Piccolo in DBZ, voiced a character on Pokemon: Black and White episode 46! Other Funimation voice actors you might also hear on Pokemon are J. Michael Tatum (Kyoya Ootori in OHSHC), Vic Mignogna (Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist), Leah Clark (Fuyuki Hinata in Sgt. Frog), and Carrie Savage (Angol Mois in Sgt. Frog)! :)

@Dougyamen Coincidentally, both actors for Zoro appeared in the same episode (Marc Diraison, 4kids/TPIC as Subway Boss Ingo, and Christopher Sabat, Funimation as Cliff!)
