twin turbo xr8

I have taken the NOS off my std short block 5.0l xr8 and put twin turbo's on it , with only 6psi of boost it runs just as fast down the 1/4 as it did with a 100shot of nos. ran 11.11 @ 123 mph first meeting out, made 470rwhp on 6psi

so those two, "gi-normous" turbos make only 6psi?? i'm not hateing, i'm just surprised. i don't know everything about turbos. i would imagine the size of the turbo doesnt tell you exactly how much boost your setup will make, but when theres 2 and they're that big i would expect more than 6psi.. great job btw, sounds really nice.. wish we had those here in the states.. hence my username.. lol

hi mate 6psi was the lowest boost I could set the wastegates to I have ran 9.67 sec et's @ 144mph on 23 psi of boost and the e-bay turbo's are still going strong , haven't had much time to race it lately

I did all the work and tuning in house in our shop "Gladstone Dyno Tuning" we are in central Qld

the turbo's are E-bay T70's and it has a comp XE282HR roller cam and 180psi springs AFR alloy heads, my quickest time so far is a 9.88 @ 141.9 mph, there is a build thread on the Australian fordforums called project handgrenade
