I disagree.The guy is not really fat. If you think about a really thin guy wielding a heavy sword it makes no sense, because his center of gravity is going to be erratic when he does full swings and circle recoveries. Whereas a well fed man will keep his center of gravity under control despite the complex movements of his sword.Speaking from 16 years of kendo experience, well fed guys almost always out perform their thin counterparts due to their superior control of their inertial moment Cheers!

@gilbride100 by the same token you wouldn't have to, the lower left quadrant of the abdomen (where I'm assuming the target is) houses the spleen, which will result in bleeding out and death with in 10 - 5 minutes (depending on stress) if ruptured. Only someone with anhidrosis (disorder where pain can't be felt) could take a blow like that and not drop.

u'r right, i had a bad experience wih metal longswords, it was very embarassing. don't use metal untill u work good on u'r balance if you are skinny

A good 1 handed sword shouldn't weigh more than 3 pounds.
some of those moves seem to leave him open way too much...#4 boar thrust...

The Boar's Thrust is just a trick, a surprise attack.You wouldn't use it twice against the same opponent.
