http://www.banjocrazy.com/ Hi, I'm PauL Roberts. I'm the only independent product specialist/dealer in the world representing Gold Tone musical instruments exclusively. Check my website and call me for the best deals on the entire Gold Tone line.

"The Banjo Has A Happy Sound" is a tune I composed using a Gold Tone BC-350+ 5-string banjo. It was designed by legendary clawhammer banjoist, Bob Carlin. The BC-350+ (as well as the BC-120 and BC-350) has a nice frailing scoop and a slightly wider fingerboard, than is standard on a 5-string. Mine has a skin head for enhanced sweetness of tone.

I'm playing in double C tuning - gCGCD - capoed on the 2nd fret with the 5th string tuned to A. So you end up in double D, which is aDADE.

I am a lifelong professional performing musician, whose interests are mainly in international folk music and composing. Although I play a number of plucked string instruments, my current musical explorations are primarily focused around banjo-family instruments and sitar.

My website http://www.banjocrazy.com/ is my online dealership for Gold Tone. It also features interviews with great banjo players, including Adam Hurt, Bob Carlin, Cathy Fink, Marcy Marxer, Gordon Johnston, Laurence Diehl, Rob MacKillop, Tom Berghan and others.

I am coproducer for Adam Hurt's groundbreaker solo gourd banjo CD, "Earth Tones."

Thanks for watching, listening and reading. Hope to see you again.
