@RevWrona you're talking about the perpetual motion of his solo, instead of playing melodically and leaving space. Just curious, because Higgins does sound unique here and now I wanna search my albums for him as a sideman and give a closer listen. Thanks.

I really liked how Higgens was playing rhythmically during a part of his solo. You didn't hear that too often in jazz drumming.
