At Lehigh, Dalai Lama defends Islam US

The Dalai Lama said yesterday that "it's totally wrong, unfair" to call Islam a violent religion. The Tibetan spiritual leader, appearing at Lehigh University, offered a defense of Islam in response to a question about the rise of violent religious fundamentalism.

WASHINGTON (AFP) — US President George W. Bush on Monday paid tribute to "the courage of the Dalai Lama and the Buddhists in Tibet,"
"We remember those seeking religious freedom in China, and we honor those who press for their liberties, people like the Uighur Muslims," said Bush.

"I also had the honor of meeting those who attend underground churches in China. And we also honor the courage of the Dalai Lama and the Buddhists in Tibet," he said.

He's just being politically correct to be accepted in the west. Buddhism dissapears because of islamic Jihad. It was the Islamic Jihadis that wipe out Buddhism from most Central Asian states and Indian Subcontinent. Islamist are still waging war against buddhists in Thailand, Bangladesh, and ladakh.

Buddha was definitely a prophet of Allah who taught compassion and loving kindness and non-violence. "In search of knowledge go all the way to China if you have to" (Prophet Muhammad, Peace be on him). Well I think there is a lot of knowledge in Tibet that we are now coming to learn about.

Dalai Lama is destroying Buddhism do reasearch & learn what hes done to the Gelugpa monks & masters. Do you wonder why hes the only person allowed to represent Tibetan Buddhism. Hes squashed all the others or forced them to become 'his' students abandoning their teachers. He slandered all the lamas who wouldnt obey him. Told Tibetans they are shortening his lifespan & other manipulation tactics to get exclusive control. Now he is editing the instructions tantamount to editing the bible
