I personally think the peavey 112 sounds better. I tried a Line 6 last time, I liked all the cool effects and stuff it brings, but I think the distortion on my Peavey 112 Sounds better for heavy music. The 112 is a great amp, it has enough power if you want to play in a band, and it is very reliable, I've had it since 2003, and still sounds great.
