Thanks. That's one of the coolest comments I've gotten. A Son Volt fan? Hell Yes Indeed! Jay Farrar is one of the great song writers alive and far too under-appreciated. Among my list of song writing greats, Jay Farrar and the "Late Great" Townes Van Zandt are damn near or at the very top.

As to writing my own songs: Ideas have been spinning around for a while, and the songs will sooner than later be in the works.
