This lovely little Soprano sax cost less than £100 (you might think I was robbed!) and it came all the way from the factory in China to Scotland for that price. I think it's OK. I don't play soprano much which is my excuse for the squeaky thin top notes. Nobody wants you to play soprano in traditional jazz bands so you don't get to do it ...unless you are the bandleader! And sometimes you get totally upstaged by a dog! I must get Harry a mic. You can hear him sing on another track on my channel 'Harry sings the blues'. Enjoy!

  • Tough! SS Curved sounds good. Was wanted, but no money. How much was the SSax?

  • @taman514 I got the Soprano on Ebay a couple of years ago, direct from an instrument factory in China, called Xin-Yi String Instruments, Tai Xing City, JiangSu. Cost $79 USD. It is labelled ' Chateau Paris', but it has never been near Paris, France, I think. A bargain, it plays in tune, unlike a lot of sopranos.

  • wonderful, i'm a brasilian saxofonist, and I like very much of your touch

  • @gilmleao Hi Gilmleao,

  • id have to say your skilled because it does sound very nice. as long as the music sounds good it doesnt matter what instrument is played in my opinion.

  • Thanks for the quick reply to the question. $ 79USD, but now may be purchased from the strong yen. Anyway SSax your sound is great.

  • Very sweet, I love soprano......even your dog loves it! Thanks! I think it's not the price of the sax...it's the great work of the musician......

  • @ThePrimordialAtom Correction: Not A Morgan USB Mic, a Samson USB Mic

  • Part 2: Then I take the video (but don't use the sound from it) and the sound mix from Logic and put that into imovie which comes with the iMac and add the credits. Then I export the movie in HD and upload it onto You Tube. Simples!
