That was really funny, and in my eyes you did a great job :) A bit stereotypical, yes. But not in a offending way. If I were you, i wouldn't take the negative comments too seriously. I'm gay myself, and personally i'm nothing like what you portrayed, but i have friends that do very much remind of that. Being really streotypical is to say that everybody is like this, and show it as something bad. You didn't at all :) Also, people who takes this serious are bigger jokes, than the video itself :P
the actor's dilemma:
conform to the stereotype so the audience will immediately recognise the character? or play a more natural (even 'butch') gay? I prefer the latter in my gay characters. Not sure where you're from??? If from England, then you'll probably know John Paul from Hollyoaks. I think the actor played gay well. I don't think you were hugely offensively camp, but a bit. And you were forced to be camp by the alien arms.
I disagree with the guy who said you had no empathy, tho.

Thank you. I think I seem more creepy than gay though. And I do hope nobody takes this seriously.

"..forced to act gay..." No. You mean forced to perform someone's stereotype of gay people. It's not called acting. It's called caricature. Acting requires some empathy with the character portrayed. This has none.
