it doesnt matter who came first or what band started it all. all these bands had influences from other bands. that is what makes metal so creative and rich. there will always be new material and sub genres. we all have our preferred sub genre of metal but we can all agree metal is part of our lives. weather youre a business man, teacher, artist, bum, whatever. it will always be a part of you \m/

@HellsAngel05 I'm pretty sure venom was way before death metal even started. No doubt, they are the creators of black metal along with kind diamond, and for me they have abit of the rest that you mentioned, doom, power etc... But venom was the band that pretty much started the thrash metal influence. I've never heard a band play that kinda music before venom.
