el coyote restaurant boycott

a very LARGE portion of their clientele is gay. the owner donated to a cause that takes away the once legal right to gay people. karma.

if we are all equal human beings, why support a cause that makes us unequal by taking away our rights? in essence, why are we going to support someone when they actively don't support us...when we supported them first?!

clveland phil, this is ross. the owner and author of the video. i posted it as an FYI for our community and the issue that we are passtionate about because we deserve to be treated equally.

please let's keep the comments nice and non confrontational. because the world is already negative enough. we don't need comments that counteract the goal for harmony for everyone. =)

Are Marjorie and her family naive enough to think that gay patrons would wish to continue coming to the restaurant knowing that they are contributing to the Mormon Church's assault on their civil liberties. 1 cent, 1 dollar, 1 thousand dollar, no matter the amount, the principle is that I would not wish to know that by eating there I am contributing to a religious institution, in another state no less, that is actively working to eliminate certain STATE GRANTED, not church, civil liberties.

It's because this isn't about "agreeing" or "disagreeing" with other people. It's about one group of people spending money or actively voting to TAKE AWAY A WHOLE GROUP OF PEOPLE'S RIGHTS. At that point, it's gone far beyond just a difference of opinion on some "issue."
