Week 21 Post Double Jaw Surgery

This is 21 weeks after my bi-jaw or Double Jaw Surgery. Still healing but things are starting to come together, doctor says it takes about a year for everything to heal. 3 screws are out but I still have 32 screws that will stay in for the rest of my life. I'm still eating a soft food diet. Thanks for all your support.

why do you have to watch what you eat at 21 weeks?? I thought after 3 months, you are suppose to be able eat normally.

@link2swim06 That's just a average guide. My operation was a little unique. Your teeth heal at different rates and eating normally is subjective. Your teeth are still loose and healing, so you have to be careful.

thanks so much for making these videos. I just had jaw surgery on Monday, and the healing and lack of eating has been getting to me. Nice to know that others have gone through the same problems

i have to have jaw surgery, but im kinda scared about it. maybe the pain ornthe actual cutting in tonthe jaw is what im scared about... i want to get the surgery, but i guess i just have nerves and im only 17.... what is the worst part about the recovery like what days does it hurt the most
