  • @Persason No, in the same way I don't design replacement hip joints. Maybe one day they will.

  • I don't see a femur rotation movement; the movement that would be necessary to cross one's legs, or to change direction while walking. I count 5 degrees of freedom (not counting the "toe" movement) and there would have to be 6 degrees for a fully functioning leg.

  • @eswyatt The client didn't want the femur rotation.

  • Also, it needs flexible, separate toes for all terrain stability, as well as a knee that bends back more than 90 degrees.
