The Dark Knight is a 2008 American superhero film based on the fictional DC Comics character Batman. The film is a direct sequel to the 2005 release Batman Begins, which rebooted the Batman franchise after an eight-year hiatus. Christopher Nolan, director of Batman Begins, continues as the director of the sequel, which stars Christian Bale again as Batman and Heath Ledger as the Joker. The film follows Batman becoming more of a detective, dealing with the escalated situation from the end of Batman Begins as well as the dilemma of his vigilante crusade, and his friendship with district attorney Harvey Dent, played by Aaron Eckhart. Batman, Lieutenant James Gordon, and district attorney Harvey Dent are successfully rounding up the criminals that plague Gotham City. A mysterious criminal mastermind known only as the Joker rises, creating a new wave of chaos. Batman's struggle against the Joker becomes deeply personal, "confront[ing] everything he believes" and improving his technology in order to stop him.

maybe you are a kid who didn't like the movie because he was missing his redundant, overdone hollywood fight scenes. this movie was all about the drama which was intense and the acting was top notch
maybe i didnt like the movie because, well if you noticed its called the dark knight, i thought that batman would be a little more dark. so that i didnt feel like a stupid little nerd going to see a comic book movie
....Extension. People would rather call Jennifer Lopez or Beyonce a "Celebrity" while the Fire - Fighters & Soldiers get ignored. (I made specific mention of those two girls coz no matter how much they R reverred, no matter what their monthly/annual income is) ...... I dont like either one of them ... I like Halle Berry though, & I miss Heath Ledger.
We're suffering from Media Frenzy. A lil entertainment isnt bad. But hero worshipping someone who roleplayed in front of a Camera for sale is something else. The Insider, Inside Edition, E Weekly and all those other channels just hype the already egotistic narcissists known as "Celebrities" I mean, Britany Spears is a mess, Whitney Houston is trying to clean it up, I heard Jessica Simpson was a dummy, Lyndsey Lohan walks on her head, gosh.... I share your views. Totally.
I got respect for George Clooney, Brad Pitt & Angelina.......or any other "CELEBRITY" who does self -less humanitarian work.......but the likes of Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston......R U KIDDING ME ???.......FUCK THEM "DOG SHIT FOR BRAINS BIMBO HOES" !!!!
