Mac vs PC is a myth started by Apple's advertising department.

So many people don't know that Macs are simply a type of PC. They even have the same parts. Apple just charges more for a fancy case. A lot more. Oh, the parts are slightly different. Not upgraded, no. They're just different enough to be proprietary, so that you have to purchase all your upgrades through Apple.

I could literally build my own brand new Mac, with their OS and everything, for half the price Apple charges.

@lamana13 actually, its such a pain and theres such a risk, that theoretically you cant. on top of that, if you even TRY, then say byebye to your warranty

and only the HDD can be upgraded. and maybe the ram. but opening the damn things is hard enough.
