It keeps trying to connect with my computer and it can't. It's extremely annoying. What do I do?

@FlawedHopes Reboot the computer. Then, check the computer firewall, and make sure it allows TCP port 1782.

Does this make ur iDevice freeze or make slow during video chat?.. or Kill ur iDevice battery?

The one I used to use does both..

@thepebbleskaty You can always connect the device to the USB port of your computer when running the app if you are worried about battery drain.

@Sentic this worked for me 1 week ago, today when i was about to do a chat with some friends, the app would not connect to my pc and i didn't change anything...

@mikkelerik Try restarting the SensticPocketService from PocketControl. If it still does not work, reboot the iPhone, and reboot your home router by unplugging its power cord.

@Gnarpig yes there's >> you'll found your port number above the (select an ip) option

and you can even connect it wireless without even using it >> i mean it you have no wireless port in your pc .. just know your ADSL ip address and write and all done

If i use this app to video chat will i need a seperate mic or will my iPhone act as the mic as well?

@Senstic I found the problem, although it is added to my firewall as an exeption, i had to disable the windows firewall for it to pass trough to the server..
