I went off of what Wikipedia told me. From what I gather, the Armenian calendar is a solar calendar that was used before the arrival of Christianity. I think it would be unforgivably foolish of me to suggest that Armenia doesn't have a history going back further. I mean, it is home to the worlds oldest leather shoe, skirt (5,900 years old... and still fashionable), and winery. As a student of history I can comfortably say it almost always seems to be doing something, no matter the time period.
