Chairman Tom Price with 1,073-page Non-Stimulus Text

Republican Study Committee Chairman Tom Price discusses the big-government handout that Democrats are going to push through Congress. The final version of the bill even has hand written notes that allow for more irresponsible spending.

Democrats made the bill available at 11 p.m. on Thursday night. At 9 a.m. Friday morning, the House begins debate on the bill. If members of Congress actually took the time to read the bill, they would have to read through the night at a rate of 626 words per minute before heading to the House floor. What are the odds of that happening?

count: except for that AIG bonus welfare, right? You know, the one Chris Dodd (D) put in, then he said he didn't, then he said he did. The one that Tim Geithner (D) said he didn't know about until now, but then admitted he did? Then Congress turns around & unconstitutionally votes to tax it at 90% when they let it be in the stimulus pkg in the first place because NO ONE READ IT!!!!! I was pointing out that in this PARTICULAR case-it's the Reps who are trying to give tax cuts to the middle class and small businesses and the Dems who are wasting our money on crap like ASSURING THAT AIG get their bonuses!
