@truth771 ya i totallly agree with u. it is very easy to get caught up in this stuff. i believe we should seek to know the truth (of the Lord) but not let these other things become the focus. Sure, i think its obvious there are things going on behind the scenes i.e. illuminati, 9/11conspiracy, blah blah... so we know about them, ok, so now what? what grieves my heart is how many Christians actually still believe our government had nothng to do w/ 9/11.

fair enough. only for the sake of discussion and nothing more (because i certainly dont claim to have it all figured out), i am just pointing out that it wasnt until the new testament in the Greek writings that the word "Satanas" was used in reference towards an individual. In the old testament it uses the word Satan to refer to anyone who is made to oppose. It even uses the word to refer to the angel of Jehovah in Num22:22.

@truth771 the very definition of Satan from a biblical concordance means "adversary, opponent, or to withstand." So in 2cor. 11:14 that would be literally translated into, "the adversary/opponent/accuser, (whatev u want to call it) is transformed into an angel of light." Satan is NOT the name of the so called angel who initiated "the fall". There is no one individual demon named "Satan"
