The Ural chorus is one of the famous collectives in Ekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk area, cities of Russia and abroad. For 60 years of the activity, the collective has visited more than 40 countries of the world, its art was clapped by spectators of Poland, Yugoslavia, Korea, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, England, France, Mongolia, Italy, Germany, Austria, India, Japan, Sweden and Holland. Thus the chorus never forgot the Russian spectators, acting in the most remote corners of the country.
The card of the Ural chorus is the various song repertoire: wedding, game, comic and плясовые national songs. Lyrical dances, vortical dancings and quadrilles are colourful and original. Round dances, dancing pictures and the plots put on the basis of a folklore material of the Ural edge. A pearl of the program of chorus is the dancing "Triptych" created on motives of the Ural crafts.

  • My question is about the comment of alexakb " po russki, not po maskowski". Does it mean that in Moscow people speak some other "kind of " Russian than in the rest of the country? Thank you

  • @MsSlucyna They speak about different dialects. In Siberia speak slowly, but in Moscow - speak quickly ))) that's all ))

  • Низкий Вам поклон, душа поет.....

  • Прослушала эту песню несколько раз. Душой вспомнила хорошие времена, когда еще все были живы...

  • Now I get it- thanks for explaining

  • @MsSlucyna

A foreign learner should follow literary Russian. The majority of Russians speak it. They neither "окать" nor "акать". Of course, there exists colloquial Russian, as it is in every language, but I suppose one can learn it only while living in the native country of the given langrage

  • @MsSlucyna

It`s not actually the dialect, just slight difference in pronunciation. And it`s not habitual (or inherent) to everybody. People living to the east of Moscow (especially elderly people) pronounce very clearly "o" (окать) while moscovites clearly pronounce and drawl "a" (акать). That`s all. But Russians of course hear it.
