Greetings Brother and Sisters again,
I am the producer of the video. The choice of using the images of the Swahili in the video was not done to lump Africans together but I actually did not have any footage of the Shona people and my concern was in spreading the message. So I apologize for that shortcoming. It was a hard choice to make.

After reading everyones comments "who cares" what tribe or nation these beautiful melanated people are from. The narrator is giving true in-sight on the origin of the piano & upon other spiritual knowledge.I'm African-America so this clip speaks volumes to me. Please put aside your differences melanated ones.

A bit like making a video of about French viticulture and showing background footage of American fast food outlets.... understand and appreciate your intentions just an unfortunate slip there that is hard not to focus on ....

The Shona people belong to Mozambique as much as they belong in Zimbabwe! I know because I'm nationally both and travel frequently between the two!.

I enjoyed the information the documentary but the people in the video, i.e the village people depicted here performing various ceremonies are definitely not shona. I am one!

I was thinking the same, but at 1:45 he's mentioning Zimbabwe.
The VIDEO footage here was not taken anywhere near ZIMBABWE. The music and talk is fine - but ignore the VIDEOS - they are West/Central African

Greetings Brother, I am the producer of the video. The visuals are from Tanzania. The narration is given by a Zimbabwean Mbira player and a ethnomusicologist. We would have liked to use something from Zim but didnt have any. This is my contribution with some shortcomings.
