actaully, corn snakes chase after their prey like a kingsnake. Pythons and boas and some vipers are sit-and-wait predators.
The red rat snake's teeth aren't that sharp either.

I've always preferred jeff over steve...steve took too many chances as if he was trying to prove something. If jeff saw a python that wanted to be left alone he would leave it...steve would go after it repeatedly despite it's many failed attempts to attack.
