lol what about a water change ?
that aquarium is so small come on ... a change wont take 15 minutes ...
i ask myself how this can happen ... seems like 15 hours light , too much food , and never changed the water lol

@DanWi I can't get ANY algae to grow in my tank! The only algae I get is this nasty white-tufted algae and red stringy algae.. And my pleco won't even eat it! yeah, I WISH my tank were like this :(

throw 3 tadpoles in there if you don't like the super healthy algae, they will clear it up in 2 days

a large filter filled with activated carbon will work wonders. cleaned up my water in my fifty five gallon community tank within 24 hours.

@DanWi Try Water changes (radical) Have a decent filter (Really?!) and keep it out of sunlight (Well I never)

@honeypregno dumb? greenwater cannot be cured by a normal filter :P

Put the gravel cuz. Gravel can reduce the green.
Green water IN NO WAY harms fish. In fact, fish love it. It provides a form of cover and some fish eat the floating algae. A good water change will not cure green water, but it will dilute it enough to allow another "cure" to work. No more than 50% change. Then try one or a combo of these three: Chemical (algaefix, etc), Diatom filter, or UV sterilizer. Good Luck.
