  • Hypocrite, broke my heart and strained my faith!

  • really??? wow ... i guess we know know where your trust was in...Psalm 146:3 Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save. i understand what the bible says about adulterers that they will have thier place hell, but so will liars thieves,blasphemers,gossipers,homosexuals... so your not out of the picture either Matthew 18:33 Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?"next time you sin, remember how you cry out for mercy from God and forgivness

  • @disciplesouljahz thank you!! i couldnt have answered better.

  • @Buckeyecat2002 do you know this for truth or are you just passing gossip?

  • @keitheyoung LOL, sounds like you have this all figured out. So we both have our own views on this and I can live with that.

  • @ebonknight : Man created God. I've created my own God, and in her eyes, I am absolutely perfect. :) The imperfect people are the ones who have deluded themselves into believing there's some sort of Invisible Sky Wizard who is in control of everything and will listen if they pray.

  • @keitheyoung Funny statement if you don't believe in God then you can't be perfect in something you don't believe in so therefore you are still imperfect. Whether you believe or not, no one is perfect.

  • @ebonknight : I am perfect in God's eye...because God doesn't exist. Why would I let an imaginary friend guide me? Wouldn't it be better to let rational thought guide your way through life?

  • @keitheyoung When you become perfect in God's eye then you can cast the first stone. Until then just be silent and let God guide your way because you need help.

  • @disciplesouljahz you are so right and now he can come back and teach about how to be strong in those situations.

  • @rentintin2000 I know exactly what you mean BUT take this as a teaching moment from Jesus so that we learn to only put our faith on him and him alone. As much as we might like a preacher only Jesus died for our sins and is worthy to be followed.

  • I confess I cried when I heard of his failure. Because I knew that would cause many to lose their faith but we must remember that only Jesus is our true "Pastor" and only he is perfect and without sin. Let us keep our eyes on Jesus. And I pray for Pastor Sheppard to be restored and given back the joy of salvation like King David when he committed adultery.
