@victobob Wasn't it played in one of the levels of the third world at the *very* last room as well? That one that was dark and underwater, but the last five seconds (where this song plays) take place on a ship.

@DarknessWeaver well, at least the original was called snakey chantey but I checked the sound test in the GBA version and it is indeed spelled "shantey" in that, so my bad

if they make a donkey kong country returns 2 they should use this in it. this, krooks march, and k.rool's theme were my favorite songs in this game

In this game, you can hear this theme in Rattle Battle as well as the sound test. It is also used in Pirate Panic from Donkey Kong Land 2. Too bad you don't hear it anywhere else.
