explosion at gas station

Dear All,

Please don't use your mobile phones on the filling stations especially while filling. The video attached happened in Brazil last month. The service station employee didn't follow the procedures during the discharge (It happened around 3:00AM). He used his mobile phone as a lamp to illuminate the tank to see if the product was right..... Unfortunately this man died two days after.

This is not true! It really is an urban legend!

It has been spread around so much that if has become almost true legend.

The true fact is - Not a single mobile phone in history has even been proven to have caused a gas station fire.

Please google "snopes mobile phone gas" or "Facts About Cell Phones and Fires at Gas Stations" ... and you will see what I mean about an urban legend gone wrong!

you heard of lewis black? he told about Arkansas. a man used a cigarette lighter to look inside a gasoline can. setting off a fire that destroyed his mobile home. he was trying to determine weather there was water in the can. its hilarious. same with the two guys in little rock Arkansas were driving a truck when the headlights malfunctioned. he noticed the bullet fit in the fuse box NEXT TO THE STEERING WHEEL COLLOM. later the bullet over heated, discharged and shot him in his right testicle.
