MP Penny Low spotted "using" her i-phone in midst of National Anthem at NDP2011 - 09Aug2011

SINGAPORE: Netizens sparked debates on a Member of Parliament, Ms Penny Low, MP of Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC, was seem "busy" with her iphone (confirmed from her live photos upload via iphone on her facebook), in the midst of the National Anthem.

One of the forumer posted the screen capture on Ms Penny Low's facebook but were deleted twice. While it may seem as a small issue, some netizens were disappointed by the lack of respect shown by the MP.

The topic continues as the hot discussion among the netizens and Ms Low made an official reply on her facebook on 10 Aug 2011 . She said:

"I was so caught up in the wonderful NDP 2011 and felt so proud of being a Singaporean, that i wanted to capture that moment of pride, at the very tail end of the anthem, to share on FB with my residents. If in my enthusiasm i offended anyone, please accept my apologies. NDP is a time to unite not divide. Majulah Singapura!"

Part 155:The other day, did you all watch the man who was attacked by a leopard in the state of Assam,India?
