One question about gasmasks in general. I seriously one to buy one, but I want to know how does breathing feels. Is it actually easier to breathe with a gas mask, or does it feel as unconfortable as a surgical mask? (it may be a stupid question, but I just want to be sure)

@blizard0717 I actually find them pretty comfortable, but breathing through them is a bit heavier. Id suggest not to run around in one lol.

@Pockets215 Thank you very much. You see I'm a Dj (my artistic name is "Toxic Blizzard"). Recently I've been requested to do a lot of shows, but I would like to spice them up by using extremely excentric outfits.

My main idea is using white contact lensses (wich I alredy do) and using a gas mask with flashing LED's, but my shows last arround 3 hours and it gets hot in the clubs, so I would like to be able to properly breathe. Would you recomend getting a gas mask for that purpose?

@blizard0717 No problem man. As far as heat gos, it will get hot inside you mask. More so with the heat of the clubs. Ive worn one for about an hour and a half once. It got sweaty, but you kind of forget about it. If I were you though I would either take the filter off (better ability to breath) or if you want the filter for the full look, hollow it out. If its an old filter, long hours in it could be quite harmful. old filters have poisonous materials in them. I stopped using mine.

Im gonna buy an old 20. century gas mask.Its got that pipe thing and its end is the filter,if im right.So,im want to ask,if the filter is grey/dark green colored im can wear and im can to breath in it??

@nagyvendi000 you can, but it could be dangerous to do so. I would advise not to breath through it.

@201138218 I've got a similar mask with the same filter and NEVER use the filter, just in case. Anyways, why even use the filter when you can just tuck the hose in the bag while your carrying it around and look like a badass instead of an elephant with a large tumor on it's trunk.
