@Quadraxis14 haha aww! I still think it's a giant fish head though. Maybe itll be less scary if you think of it that way?
-
@Quadraxis14 They also called Kagari a dude in the manual, which I don't get. I mean, haven't they played Metroid?
-
I never fought the rock of Impending doom awww is it a gamecube exclusive???
-
I REALLY need to play this game again. I think I should be able to beat it now that I've played more bullet hells *cough touhou cough* now than I did back when I first played the game. Managed to get to the final boss on Normal once, but aside from that never actually beat the game... and lol easy modo :D

In the same boat with you, Quad. Love bullet hells. Suck at them.
Aw, sorry I didn't get the picture done.

@OwlshaveFeathers Es ist kein problem.
I think it's more effort than it's worth to have a title card for every LP and it would get annoying after a while. Don't worry about it too much.

I feel Atari ported this without understanding the game properly.
For example, they excised all of the story text instead of translating it, pretty much indicating that they don't really "get" Japanese shmups enough to port them without editing stuff for fear of ALIENATING THE POOR CONSUMERS OH NO and that's why the XBLA port actually done BY Treasure is the definitive one to own, if not the Dreamcast port.

@MattTheSpratt In my case I don't own or plan to own a 360 and the Dreamcast version is thrice as expensive as the Gamecube version if not more so. In that case, I'll take the one available to me, I hate that the story was left out and certain things were changed, but regardless it's still a damn fun game.

so, iI myself am not too familiar, but it looks like this is a lot like siloet mirage
LPwatcher 1 year ago
@LPwatcher Yep, same company, Treasure, made both games, actually. The polarity aspect is much better handled here than in Silhouette Mirage however, as fun a game as SM is.
