@nisbahmumtaz909 bag of dicks.. lol.

Alright, I apologize for coming off as a dick. But still, your response to the translator was not so much elegant as a bag of dicks either.
Personally, I find the game to be very intriguing right from the start. The gameplay could use some work, and the soundtrack comes of as quite forgettable.
But wow, I don't know why I'm really attracted to play this game. It's like Live-A-Live. Not exactly complex or anything, but just fun to play.
The game

@nisbahmumtaz909 Wait what should I be grateful for? I'm confused how this has anything to do with the state of society or any particular generation.. stop generalizing and you'll make more sense.
What I said was pretty clear. If you read the description and some people's comments, they are greatly exaggerating the quality of this game, translated or otherwise. Do you really think this is "truly amazing" ..? Even for the time when the game was made, it was bad.

Oh come on now. You are the exact depiction of this modern generation of ungrateful people. Understandably, this translation patch is a little subpar, but guess what, it's not like he can help it. Are you saying he should ignore his life and work for months just to get the right typesetting and other bullshit like that?

@jkmcdani The newest version of snes9x for the Mac has an auto-patch feature. Alternately, look for a program called "Multipatch Patching Tool".

@downwithdinosaurs The video is of a 12 year old version of the patch, which I made when I was still in high school. Professionals, last I checked, also have large development teams and get paid.

Enix never released it here because they knew we wouldn't buy it. I don't understand why people equate unreleased status with quality. The game was bad. I suppose it's only appropriate that this fan-translation is such a piece of shit. If you're going to do a translation patch, just do your best to translate and then edit the dialog so that it actually makes some sense. That's how the professionals do it. What's the point in making an exact translation if the result is unintelligible?
-
@siryoink How do you run the patch on the snes9x on a mac?
-
Interesting game. That has to be the worst font I've ever seen though... way too big!
If anyone is still interested in the translation of this, we resumed work on it recently. Can't post the link here, but it's under my profile.

The patch version is 0.26, but only 15% of the dialogues were translated. I hope someday, someone finish the translation. We appreciate so much!

Retroup, how did you find this game in English? A patch? Tried looking, but couldn't find one.

Yes, it´s a translation patch, but it translates only 15% of the dialogues, the group that made this work is dead since 2005, and nobody else wanted to continue the translation.
