Just before the slam comes out, quickly equip and unnequip the ak and it will cancel the slam.

just did it .. NO .. that wasnt it at all .. time was exactly the same 421 .. even without saving .. im doing it flawlessly as far as i can tell .. i skip scenes as fast as it will let me and my run through ground zero is a constant full speed no interuptions accept barrel which i shoot by tapping without aiming .. so its practically like he never shoots at all cuz its fast .. this is really testing my sanity .. ive even gotten halfway ok with the knife method .. it only takes me 5-10 tries

It was the same for me mate, it is not easy to get the fastest times it is all to do with the skipping scenes fast and saving when prompted fast. Also you need to save in every area for best results.

omg .. is it the save itself .. the save before ground zero .. should i choose no there instead of yes .. is it the time to save thats being added .. that would seem less than 15 sec but does offer best explanation .. im quite good at that part .. so ill start new game and see if skipping save does the trick .. ill let you know .. but if not .. ill be wanting some help :)

in your redzone vid how do you have 406 at save .. i have 421 .. i am doing the ground section slightly faster than you cuz i dont take as long to aim at barrel .. yet your time is 15 sec faster .. i really must know why .. is there some tecnique involved with skipping scenes .. or perhaps the new game videos .. are there shorter longer ones you can choose to watch .. my time at start of zero save is 314 .. i cant seem to make that any shorter no matter what i try .. 15 sec is a lot ..

It shouldnt work I know, it is because he is distracted by the explosion. Sometimes he will go into alert mode.
