The Police played at Atlanta (The Omni), U.S.A., two nights on 1983.11.02 and 1983.11.03. This was the third World tour called "Synchronicity tour", which lasted from 1983 summer till 1984 March. After this world tour "The Police" broke up in 1984. In 1984 they worked on "Synchronicity Concert" video, which was released in 1984 (VHS), then in 1985 they filmed video clip "Synchronicity II" and in 1986 june they reformed for three concerts (Amnesty International tour). In 2003 "The Police" - Stewart Copeland, Andy Summers and Sting were acknowledged into "Rock and Roll of Fame" museum. In 2007 they reformed for the last World tour (2007-2008). The video's status can change, if the policies chosen by the content owners change.

wow, i didn't know Sting said that, but the energy both nights was truly incredible, & I had attended some amazing shows by many performers for over ten years by that time - I ushered both nights in Atlanta, and we were told it was being taped for a video release, & for some reason it was actually three nights in a row, in my memory!
Right now on Facebook, Sting's site is asking what fans' fave memories of seeing him live have been, so I came here to have a look first- what fun to find these!
