I too would love to get a recording of "The Jalopy Song" to download to my IPod. Did anyone ever figure out where it can be purchased? Thanks!

My 83 year old father has been looking for this song for years. Thank you for posting it. Any idea where I can get a recording of it?

I took the song from the first Bear Collection
and didn't totice the little extra on the end
till I posted it. I used the CD because it is better quality than using the 45. If I knew how to remove that bit I would.

I love your choice of great cars of the past , I owned most of them at one time or another, I had most of them up on blocks when I joined Uncle Sam and my dear mother sold them all to the junk man :(. I didn't have the Kaiser Darren tho wish I would have. Thanks for the video.

@willowhawk2 These are the cars of my youth. They were not always good looking but they had personality. That is something they don't have today. Granted the cars today are better made because tecknowlegy is much better but who will have any fond memories about tese cars 50 years from now.

My first brand new car was 1957 Bel Air Chevrolet Hardtop! I wish I had it now!

@cf1934 If you had the 57 Bel Air today you would have something of great value. I was never a GM fan bit the 57
Chevrolet was the best looking car they ever made. My first car was a 1954 Hudson Hornet and my first New car was a 1962 Rambler American. Then it was called a compact, today it would be a fullsize car.

@ilovethe1950s No. these cars are long gone. But the autos of this period had personality. They were not always good looking but they didn't look all alike the way they do today. You had some individuality back then .
