  • @itskeawe The DC-10s i flew on were flown by United and We did NoN-stop flights to Kona on the Big island of Hawaii in the years of 1991 or 1992 or both, 1993, and 1994 2 times in 1994!

  • @AirCargoHeavy The doors are spring loaded closed. When there is not enough air going through the intake, the doors are pulled open by the suction of the engines. Not sure if there is a limit for the doors- it's all relative on airspeed and N1

  • @Hazafan88 Nope. We're from Dover :)

  • @Zickcermacity No wide angle lens here. I had my Canon A350 Powershot pressed against the window

  • @Astromchaser We weighed close to 700,000 lbs

  • @TrainSounds We were on our way to Guam :)

  • @PaulG85 Depends on how heavy you are. I've seen ground runs as short as 3500 feet or so.

  • @88mroux I was just about to say Yeah. Fricking GE!

  • @itskeawe you could also call it a "Moan" or "Wurr". And yet thats what the C-5 Galaxy and the DC-10 have in commen. And Also the engines on both the DC-10 and the C-5 Galaxy are made by General Electric.
