the screen is the most expensive and most fragile part of a laptop - be careful with it - i personally wish that manufacturers would put more attention is making their laptops more robust (especially Dell, for which my latitude 510 had 2 screen replacements under the extended 3 years warranty, but it would always get dark spots over and over again)

wow man.. mine also broke.. i m just hoping to get a replacement cheaper than what Asus offers the fix for..
with mine i never had an accident.. just opened it and found it not working..
