  • Right-wingers seem attracted to this sight like flies round shit, and when they eventually make a comment, trying to defend the moron Bush it becomes painfully obvious how this joke got elected.

Some of the conservatives shouting their mouths off here really need to educate themselves about the world, problem is though it involves reading a book and forming their own opinion...hardly conducive to the sort of person who gets their news from Fox.

  • Correct, and the reason I worked hard to get my house re-mortgaged before the 2006 election was because I knew the down-turn was coming fast because of the Iraq quagmire. Luckily in November 2006 I secured a 6.5%, 30-year, fixed mortgage rate, and Bush and his recession can do whatever, but I'll be fine.

The Iraq war fucked this country's economy. Period.

  • Something is seriously wrong with an economic system that depends on war and destruction for its growth. Our weapons industries should shift their production capabilities towards domestic goods. It just makes more sense to produce products that Americans can use instead of military equipment--unless of course we plan on using the military to steal natural resources from other countries.

  • Bush's number one supporter in 2000, Ken Lay (ENRON CEO and convicted felon) years before during the Vietnam war was a economic researcher for the Navy. He wrote a report for Richard Nixon stating it was important to CONTINUE the war in Vietnam for the sake of the US economy. These conservatives believe in the war mongering view that war is good for the economy. Prescott BUSH was also a warmonger and associated with the Nazi, Fritz Thyssen. Their mind is twisted.

  • @Marvareeno are you dumb?

  • @Seleucus84

The engineers who work for the "Military industrial complex" do not need any help in finding jobs. The money would have been much better spent on the space program. Personal computers and the internet are spin offs of the space program. Money spent on war does nothing but create debt, inflation, recessions, depressions, death and misery.

Do you happen to know that the "Young Turks" were a bunch of crypto-Jews who took over the Turkish government for the purpose of destroying the Ottoman Empire so that the state of Israel could be created? They ordered the genocide of over a million Armenians for this purpose. The Armenians were the intelligentsia of the Ottoman Empire. Jewish Turks took their place. The Jewish Bolshevics who genocided and supplanted the Russian intelligentsia helped in the plunder of Armenia.

  • @TheYoungTurks Can I get the old shows from TYT.com?

  • "This is a limited program designed to prevent attacks on the United States of America -- and I repeat: limited." -George W. Bush (January,1, 2006) Regarding NSA warrantless surveillance programs.

"The government will make use of these powers only insofar as they are essential for carrying out vitally necessary measures...The number of cases in which an internal necessity exists for having recourse to such a law is in itself a limited one." -Hitler (March,23,1933) Regarding THe Enabling Act.
