I have travelled around the world and have taken many photos. A few of my photos have been used by newspapers and web designers.
I recently went to get more photos processed. When I walked into the department store I was stopped dead in my tracks when I saw one of my copyrighted photos being used for commercial advertising.Someone in the store claimed they had taken the photo! Fortunately we came to a settlement and I have a nice new camera! Claiming someone else's work as your own is theft!

Whether you are paid for your photos or not, you should ALWAYS be ASKED if they can be used, and ALWAYS be credited! Most photographers are delighted to see their work published, but to just lazily steal work, credit OTHERS for it, is a slap in the face. If you liked the work enough to use it, get off your butt and contact the photographer.

@b1tTutorials your kidding right?

@Db3st0794 art should be free!

What Noam said at the end, at the veeeery end, should be remade into a more epic scene. "I guess they're wrong" *then strikes Obama's "yes we can" face*

@GoldStingProductions oh god my sides,I was thinking the same thing

Noam's shocking, amazing story.What SHOULDN'T happen as a photographer. I hope to come across many other inspiring, humbled photographers like him. Please watch!

I know it's his photo and they must ask for permission to use his photo but it's not always about money. I mean if it was my face, I wouldn't mind not getting paid for it since it's all over the world. There are literally thousands even millions of photos like this being used everyday.
@georgemannjr
not everyone cares about money, and tbh he doesnt strike me as a greedy guy
