B.E.F. (British Electric Foundation) were a band/production company formed by former Human League members Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh who later became Heaven 17. Decline of The West is from their 1981 debut Music For Stowaways (later repackaged as Music For Listening To).

  • Good days :-)

  • Fabulous. This was also on the "B" side of the Fascist Groove Thang 12"... Ridiculously moving

  • How very fitting.

Got the cassette, but don't know if it plays know.

    Fascist groove thang too....

  • Amazing track have the original on vinyl strange that it is under this guise.

  • Amazng track, I played this to death... Still love it now too.

  • Thank you for posting this music from the B.E.F. 1981 "Music for Stowaways" LP. Am familiar with these guys best for "Ball of Confusion" with Tina Turner (1982), and then of course their later incarnations as Human League & Heaven 17. Interesting... DAVEDJ
