B.E.F. (British Electric Foundation) were a band/production company formed by former Human League members Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh who later became Heaven 17. Decline of The West is from their 1981 debut Music For Stowaways (later repackaged as Music For Listening To).
Thank you for posting this music from the B.E.F. 1981 "Music for Stowaways" LP. Am familiar with these guys best for "Ball of Confusion" with Tina Turner (1982), and then of course their later incarnations as Human League & Heaven 17. Interesting... DAVEDJ
