I'm going to come down here and follow me around here. You're going to see this real fast. Oh my gosh, I see this pear. How does this man do this? It's because he's having fun and the pear is done. Again, don't cover it up. See how fun it can be to paint like this. Let me have a different color on this one. Let me come down here, a lot of contrast. Get rid of all the parts that don't look like a pair. Just like Michelangelo when he sculpted David, he took a big hunk of rock and got rid of the parts that didn't look like David. It's the same thing we're doing. It's called reductive painting. And just to show you how fun this can be let me put a discarded mat over this and you can see instantly, it's done.
