Song was written by Gordon Jensen. First recorded by a group called the Orrells, in the 70's. Gordon was their piano player and songwriter. Song was done by their tenor singer, Wayne Hilton. Who is the best tenor now and then in Gospel music.

My first crush was when the Heritage Singers come to Denver when I was 4. I have been singing this song now for 36 years. They are a true blessing to our church (SDA) on spreading the love that Christ and His Father have for us sinners.

THIS SONG HAS BLESS ME IN MANY WAYS. ON JUNE 21,2011 I LOST MY MOTHER TO CANCER. BUT I WAS BLESS TO BE WITH HER THE LAST THREE WEEKS OF HER LIFE HERE ON EARTH. I WAS BY HER BED SIDE WITH MY HAND IN HERS AS SHE WENT TO BE WITH HER DEAR SAVIOR. THE TEARS THAT HAVE FALLEN FROM MY EYES IS A LANGUAGE THAT GOD UNDERSTANDS. IT REALLY HAS HELP ME WITH THE LOST OF MY MOTHER........MAY YOU BE BLESS AS I HAVE WITH THIS SONG..........
