Comparison of Roush axle back vs. Hushpower axle back vs. GT500 axle back exhaust on a 2011 Mustang GTCS. This car has an off-road Xpipe (no cats), stock over-axle pipes and stock resonators.
This is an update of the previous video that compared the Roushes to the Hushpowers.

Wow the hushpowers sound perfect with the 5.0!! Roush was way to raspy and the GT-500 was just a little to quiet. Hands down hushpower wins.

@msly08 Lol I bought the car slightly used so if I need the resonators I'll have to buy new ones :( I did happen to see a few videos on here with no resonators + GT500 mufflers and it doesnt seem too bad...Well see, for $200 or so on the mufflers I wont be too mad if I have to put the stock back on or go find the resonators. Thanks for the response!

Phenomenal job on the video! Nobody takes the time to make a video like this. I am just wondering one thing and I am sure everybody wants to know which X pipe do you have on that car? IMO your Roush in car is the best sound I have ever heard from the new 5.0! A lot of people think that if the exhaust sounds the best outside its going to sound the best inside too. Thats not always true. Next time I am going to buy exhaust based on the sound it makes inside the car for ME to hear! Thanks!

@matt12v2 Thanks for the kind words! I have the Lethal Performance Off-road X-pipe.
I'm running the GT500 axle backs with it, and they sound FANTASTIC inside and out. I took the car in yesterday for an oil change, and they guys at the Ford dealer all huddled around the car and said it was the best sounding exhaust on a Mustang they've heard.
If anybody should know a good sounding exhaust, I would think they would...

@msly08 Any idea how different the GT500's will sound with the resonators deleted? I'm running stock exhaust system, except the resonators were taken out. I'm wanting to go with the GT500 exhaust as it is the best sounding one so far...That and alot of the catbacks seem to have drone problems....

@Punisher7121 Nope, I've never heard that combo before. I know of one guy who cut the resonators out, then had them welded back in the next day because they were WAY too loud. So, I guess b ready to put 'em back in if you take them out!
