  • It's so funny watching Bette back in the day. She got it. Not many do. The timing, the reportoire, the research, the drive....there are few performers that can hold a candle to her.

  • Drinking Again is sheer BRILLIANCE!

  • Thanks, SWC! Mr Manilow was great on the albumn, I thought.

  • Don York played and conducted this show. Our 'Clams Tour'- 1977 ish. Thanks for posting!

  • Looked for the albumn version and found this... so powerful! (Who played piano?)

  • her version of drinking again just kills me

  • Nanette was written by "Who?"

  • Saw this outside of DC at Shady Grove Music Fair. Whoever her idiot management was didn't do their advance work and apparently the crew didn't find out till they arrived that Shady Grove is in the round! So none of the amazing set pieces could be used, and the entire show had to be re-blocked in a day. That's probably why Miss M kept referring to the venue as "Shitty Grove" during the show. Of course it was brilliant regardless. Charlo, if you're still around - any memories of this date?

  • I saw this one in Stockholm, Sweden - O, memories ;)

  • tak!
