Final Fantasy VIII Fandub Episode 6- Dollet Mission PART 2

Hey everyone. WOW this episode has taken me like forever to finally finish, but we are just about almost finished this episode and then we can move onto episode 7, which I bet everyone is excited about. It means a brillant and dance scene as well as the introduction of the lead female Rinoa *Squeeels* Im soooo excited.

Anyways theres a BIG difference with this episode. I think for a few of you who have followed the fandub since the beginning, Squalls voice Is a little different in this piece. That's because we have a understudy taking over from Christian until he can return to the Fandubbing world. We will surely miss your familiar voice. This episode introduces a new member to the team. Please make a warm welcome to Christians Understudy-Thehurricanekid. I chose him for a reason. Just because 1: He had been trying as Squall for a while but didn't get anywhere, and 2: Doesn't he sound a little like Christian except for the deep voice? I agree and I think he will do this team mighty fine until Christian returns. Anyways for all those who have been watching my channel I have just recently uploaded a new video seeking new and fresh voices to the project. Nice debut for the new Squall! (Heh, at the point in time, he's still such a loner). Seifer, Selphie and Zell (What IS the deal with all these "S" names?) were all solid! Biggs & Wedge-thumbs up! Same with all the extras! Always fun to see a new episode, Tainted!

@The3rd23790 Ah, I knew it would not be an easy transition to replace such a talented guy like Christian. I think the issue may be that I'm trying to voice him like Doug Erholtz did Leon in the Kingdom Hearts series. And Leon is in his mid-twenties as opposed to the teenaged Squall here. I'll make an effort to rein in the gruffness next time. Thanks very much for your thoughts; I always appreciate the input.

@The3rd23790 Astraiaiaia: You cover up your accent beautifuly! I can hardly tell you have one, however it has come at a price. Some of your lines sound a tad awkward. Thats about it though, a couple awkward lines. Great work otherwise.

@The3rd23790 Aussieroth7: Its good to hear you lighten up on this role. This is probably the best i've heard you as Seifer yet. That bass is gone and the acting was real solid.

Gargglemonkey: By far my favorite performance of the dub. I thought the deliveries were fantastic, the energy was right, and the voice picture perfect for the character. Can't wait to hear more.

Thehurricanekid: Its a uniqe Squall, and in most cases that would be fine, but I just can't get behind this. The deliveries seem forced and that voice is far too low for a 17 year old. Ease up on that voice, its not natural. Let something more natural come to the front so that it doesn't interfere with your acting. Can't really say if I like it yet, gunna wait until the next episode to give a definitive answer.

Wedge: A much more militant Wedge than I'm used to. Still, I quite enjoyed it.

Biggs: Normally I would say you're fine. But it just felt awkward with Trixen as your Wedge. Deepen it up and maybe tone back on the theatrics to better blend the two characters.

Sarifus: You died magnificently.

Me: I felt forced and lacking energy.

Squall32X: I think it was a tad over played. Let it be more natural.

Mikemaverick: Same as the above. I think you went overboard there.

Kiramaru: No complaints

Alright lets get down to brass taxes. Nothing to say about the editing as much as its standard (I think). If you've remixed the scene or touched it up, then good on ya girl sounds amazing! The normalization is real solid too! Sounds all around amazing!

As for the cast I have my nitpicks, and there are plenty. I'll point them out and see what I can do for giving hits on how to fix that up!
