Make up your own minds, but this is how I see it:
Glamour: GA win hands down, but that's kinda their thang. Tiffany wasn't going for glamour, so fans of the natural-looking woman will be somewhat warmed by the down-to-Earth way Tiffany presented herself.
Vocals: I don't think there's much to call between Nadine and Tiffany. In terms of the tracks, as a whole, Tiffany displays the greatest vocal range, but she also slips up a bit, managing to sound intermittently moronic (check the end of the vid!) so I'm gonna call it even here.
Making the song their own: both GA and Tiffany's version is a cover. However, Tiffany's energetic sound and the track struck the perfect notes for its time and produced a massive, arguably iconic hit. She truly made the song her own. GA, I'd say, played it a bit safe. A new quasi-rock vibe brought the song into the new millennium, but GA didn't stamp themselves all over it. Despite the change in tone, this comes out a fairly simple cover. Tiffany takes the plus points here.
Looks: GA.
The Winner: Debbie Gibson.
The true mark of any champion is their longevity and Tiffany receded pretty quickly after a brief period of mega stardom. Girls Aloud have scored limited international success but are a massive and endemic hit in the UK. They keep on producing chart-topping material so I'm gonna doff my hat to them - great song, great sound. They've done better, but that's neither here nor there.
tiffany did this much better girls aloud just did a bad remix

Tiffany totally rocked "Love Machine" all by herself when it was sung by 4/5 girls, also GA made I think were alone now like a bunch of sorority girls singing at Karaoke...glamour? Tiff was 15! My god give her a break...But if she re-made the video she would totally rock it again...

girls aloud ruined this song. they turned it in to some kind of mixed up mess. this song was never ment to be be played this way.debbie did it better. after all ,, she cared about how the song was really supposed to be done.this group tried to turn it in to some kind of dance song but their spaced out echo and slured music turned it into a nosiey bunch of spaced out distortion
